On November 8, 2019, Columbia Synapse hosted experts in neuroscience and medicine whose research focuses on the science and treatment of brain injury and recovery. In a panel-style discussion, Dr. Steven G. Kernie, Dr. Lauren Oberlin, and Dr. James M. Noble shared their research and clinical experiences related to brain injury and, specifically, to concussions. They addressed the brain’s remarkable ability to repair itself and how this can be facilitated by interventional measures. .
